John C. Hodges, Sr., 64 of Greenwood, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at Community Hospital South.
He was born on Sunday, February 5, 1956 at St. Francis Hospital in Beech Grove, Indiana to the late Leroy Clinton and June Irene (Haas) Hodges. He was one of 14 children.
John attended Crispus Attucks and Northwest High School. He had many loves such as woodworking, he loved building just about anything, working on cars and was a true red-blooded American guy, but he especially love playing and spending time with his grandkids when he could.
He is survived by his children, John C. Hodges, Jr. (Tamara Paige), David L. Hodges (Danielle), Andrew P. Hodges; grandchildren, Aleah, Layla, Klarissa, Stephanie, Nathan, Oliver, Briana, Hayden; brothers, Tom, Ronnie, Joe, Timmy; and sisters, Carol Sue, Mickey, Judy, and Mary Helen.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and a sister.
Visitation will be Friday, July 17, 2020 from 12:00 until 2:00 pm at Indiana Funeral Care/Greenwood Chapel, 2433 East Main Street, Greenwood, IN 46143.
Memorial service will begin at 2:00 pm.
