John was born in Chicago, IL. He was raised in Roselyn, IL. He was an active member of Sauk Village Bible Church, where he served as the churches Sunday School Superintendent. John was a tool and die maker. He worked 32 years for Kropp Forge located in Cicero, IL.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Janet (Kaluza) of IN, Sons: John B Koesema (Joyce) of FL. Marc Koesema of CA, John E (Jamie) Koesema of WI, and Daughter Ann Birch of IN. Grand children: Tyann Russ of FL, Sabrina Koesema of FL, Joshua Birch of IN, Megan Birch of IN, and Chad Birch of IN, Ashley Koesema of WI. Great Grand children: Harper Russ of FL, and Ayayn Koesema of FL. Sisters: Phyllis Lozano of IL, and Clara Newberry of IL.
John was a loving husband, father and grandfather. The Lord called home a good and faithful servant.
A graveside service was held March 5, 2021 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Greenwood, Indiana.
