John B. Armstrong II

May 17, 1951 — March 18, 2021

It is with great sadness that we announce that John B. Armstrong II (Bernie) has gone to be with the Lord on March 18, 2021. Bernie was born May 17, 1951 (69 years young) and attended Chartrand High School, now known as Roncalli, and graduated in 1969. He worked most of his life at Pepsi and retired from there. Bernie started in Sales at Pepsi and then later became a semi-truck driver. Bernie loved to go to his campground in Cloverdale and just relax, fish on his dock, and occasional take a drive around the campground in his golf cart. Every now and then he would drive up to the local convenience store in the golf cart for ice cream.

Bernie is preceded in death by both parents, John B. Armstrong I and Helen Marie Armstrong (Kuhn). He is also preceded in death by his first two wives, Rhonda and Linda Armstrong.

He is survived from his loving high school sweetheart, Debbie, with whom he reconnected with. He is also survived by his children, Tammy (Herb) Marqua, John B. Armstrong III, Tracy Stauffer, and Jonathan (Stacy) Weaver; brother, Robert (Vicki) Armstrong; as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews who all loved him very much and will miss him dearly.

Bernie asked that there be no service prior to his passing and we, his family, are honoring that wish. Bernie will be cremated and his remains will be buried in a private family ceremony at Lincoln Memory Gardens in Whitestown, IN. We will possibly hold a Celebration of Life at a later date. We thank all our friends and family for their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
