Joe Michael Thomas

Joe Michael Thomas, 65, of Boggstown, Indiana passed away December 9, 2024. 

Joe was born on September 7, 1959 in Rushville, Indiana to the late Leonard S. and Nina L. (Poe) Thomas. 

He is survived by his wife, Sonja Thomas; children, Becky Jo Patterson (Joe), Tracy Isgrigg (Larry), Nathaniel Thomas, Brittany Thomas (Curtis Bennett), Stephanie Thomas; step-son, Ryan Alexander; grandchildren, Terry Robinson, Victoria Martin, Sarah Robinson, Josh Patterson, Miley Isgrigg, Kenna Isgrigg, Gabby Claytor, Ian Stephanoff, Callie Thomas, Parker Guerra, Linkin Guerra, Gwendolyn Gatewood, Hannah Alexander, Indy Alexander and 4 great grandsons, Lendin Fillip, Baby Terry Robinson, Reiker Bergen, JJ Martin; special cousins, Regina Sharp and Sharon Thomas Smith.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Nina; brothers, David Thomas, Greg Thomas (Linda); sister, Susan Thomas; nephew, Robert Thomas and granddaughter, Sophie Alexander. 

Joe loved fishing, construction,and was a jack of all trades and could fix anything. He graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2006 with a degree in Business Management. He was a huge fan of the shows Yellowstone and Survivor also the Pacers and Indianapolis Colts. But most of all he loved his family and his grandchildren. 

Memorial visitation is Monday, December 23, 2024, 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel.
