(Mary) Joanne Quinlan King, 88, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on February 4, 2021. Born on May 10th, 1932 in Covington, KY to Leonard and Marie Quinlan. She was the widow of Alexander Pence King Jr. and they were married for 59 years.
She belonged to Holy Spirit Catholic Church and enjoyed making liturgical banners for the church. She took joy in travel, sewing, camping, teaching, and loving on her four daughters, nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. She will be remembered for her unconditional love for her family, her creative abilities, and kindness. She always saw the best in everyone.
She is survived by daughters Denise Fuller (Larry,d.), Julie Lower (Jim), Dottie Wyn (Tim) and Sarah Conlisk; grandchildren Todd Fuller, Matt Fuller, Ross Lower, Brett Lower, Gina Wyn Thompson, Stephanie Wyn Gillin, Kevin Wyn, Carly Conlisk Rigan, and Caleb Conlisk; great-grandchildren Grady, Elaina, Amelia, Luke, Mackenzie, Zoey, Owen, Everett, Logan, Bodhi, Colin, Griffin, and Olivia.
Virtual Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 11:00 EST, 10:00 CST, 9:00 MST (please follow link on Joanne's Tribute Page). Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 10:00 am at Indiana Funeral Care, Harry W. Moore Chapel.
