Jesse F. Robinson

Jesse Floyd Robinson, 84, of Indianapolis, Indiana entered into eternal rest, Sunday, March 19, 2023, at his home.

He was born on Wednesday, June 15, 1938 to the late Floyd and Carrie L. Robinson in Bloomington Springs, TN.

Jesse worked many years in the trucking industry as terminal manager and in dispatch.  As his children recall, they could call him if they were lost anywhere in the state of Indiana and he could guide them safely back home.  After retirement, Jesse took a job driving the shuttle van for Indy Honda where he thoroughly enjoyed meeting and talking with customers.

Jesse is preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Benton Robinson.

He is survived by his wife, Johnnie Robinson, to whom he was married for 58 years, sons, Jesse Robinson II, John Robinson, daughter, Julie Robinson-Brown (Robert) all of Indianapolis, brothers, Ammon Robinson (Susie) of Crossville, TN, Dillard Whitson of Cookeville, TN, sister, Reba Welch of Knoxville, TN, many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Memorial visitation is Saturday, April 1, 2023, 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel.

Memorial service will begin at 1:00 pm.
