Jerry S. Whitney, 89, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on December 10th, 2020.
Jerry was born in Charlotte, Michigan in 1931, to Carroll E. and Ruth Whitney.
Jerry is preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn A. Whitney. He is lovingly remembered by his family. His children include Denise Whitney, Richard Whitney (Chizuki), Michael Whitney (Lorraine) and Patricia (Brad) Lane. His grandchildren Taylore (Tim) Webster, Skylar (Garrett) Whitney, Bryce Whitney, Connor Wiesenauer, Trevor Whitney and Aili Lothamer. His great-grandchildren are Cora, Emerson and Oliver Webster. Additionally, he is remembered by his special friend, Sharon Herren.
Visitation will be held at Indiana Funeral Care on Wednesday December 16th, 2020, from 2:00pm-4:00pm. Due to COVID precautions, there will be a limited number of visitors allowed at a time.
Funeral service will begin at 4:00pm and will be by invitation only due to COVID restrictions. However, the service will be live-streamed at the link below.
The family would like to extend their thankfulness to all for their friendship and support during Jerry’s battle with Alzheimer’s.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in Indianapolis, IN, which can be contacted at 317-575-9620 or www.alz.org.
