Jerome "Jerry" Bruce Fleming

Jerome ‘Jerry’ Bruce Fleming, 70, of Indianapolis passed away on February 5, 2022, at his home surrounded by family. Jerry was born on January 12, 1952, in LaPorte, Indiana.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Laurence Dale & Delores Fleming, and his sister, Charlotte Fleming.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia, nee McKee; daughter, Jennifer (Michael) Schlumpf, nee Fleming; son, Kyle J. Fleming; and grandchildren, Natalie Schlumpf & Evan Schlumpf. He is also survived by his brothers, Terrence & Laurence Fleming; his sisters, Christine Shelton, nee Fleming & Cynthia Evans, nee Fleming; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jerry loved all kinds of music, painting, and gardening. He rarely went anywhere without some form of music playing. He sought to beautify the world around him. He never met a stranger and enjoyed getting lost in conversation. His artist’s heart led him to his favorite occupation: that of making other people’s homes and gardens look the best possible.

Jerry cherished time with his family and enjoyed traveling. His favorite destinations were quiet retreats where he could relax and appreciate nature’s beauty.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a Memorial/Celebration of Jerry’s life on
Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Daniel’s Vineyard, 9061 N 700 W, McCordsville, IN 46055 with visitation from 12-1 and service at 1:00 P.M.

In remembrance of Jerry, contributions may be made to the Community Health Network Foundation. Alternately, tributes to the family will be directed to the funeral fund to assist with expenses.
