Jeremy David Woosley

Jeremy David Woosley, 46, of Morristown, Indiana passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at Major Hospital in Shelbyville, Indiana.

Jeremy was diagnosed with stage 4 renal failure in October 2015, due to health complications he could not qualify for a kidney transplant. Jeremy has been on dialysis since 2015. He was also diagnosed with throat cancer earlier this year and recently suffered a blood clot in the major artery of his neck. His heart was weakened and was no longer able to pump correctly.

Jeremy was a lifelong resident of Shelby County, Indiana. He graduated from Morristown High School in 1995. He collected comic books, farm toys and NASCAR.

Jeremy is survived by his mother, Teresa Ervin and stepfather Brian Ervin of Indianapolis; grandmother, Nancy Dooley of Greenfield, IN; uncles, Robert Middleton of Greenfield, IN, Doug (Michelle) Middleton of Shelbyville, IN; aunt, Sharon (Randy) O'Maley of Indianapolis, IN; stepsister, Brianna (Jason) Nichter of Seymore, IN; cousins, Jessica Middleton, Erika Middleton and Tyler Middleton; father, Jerry Woosley of Waldron Indiana; uncles, Larry Woosley of Morristown, IN, Leon (Cathy) Woosley of Mississippi, Gene Woosley of Bangkok, Thailand; aunt Sue (Steve) Drake of Indianapolis; cousins, Scott Woosley, Mike Woosley, Tim Drake and Tom Drake.

Jeremy is preceded in death by his great grandfather Ebbon Childress; grandparents, Paul, and Wanda Woosley; grandfather, Ray Dooley; uncles, Barney Woosley and Jimmy Middleton.

Jeremy will be laid to rest at Asbury Cemetery in Morristown Indiana.
