Jennifer Guy was born in Lexington, Kentucky and grew up in the enclave of Anchorage by Louisville where she excelled academically and in sports. She left a path of scholarship and youth championships in tennis, swimming, and golf across southeastern US. Jennifer attended Wellesley College then Tulane University School of Architecture, University of Louisville and finally graduated Magna cum laude from The Brandeis School of Law.
Jennifer left private law to become an editor of content and format for the renowned Westlaw Legal Research Service. She later entered the banking world as a VP in security at Chase Bank in Columbus, Ohio. She spent her recent years in information security for Sallie Mae Corporation in Indianapolis.
While in Indianapolis, her interest in historic and urban architecture (and good wine) led her to meet architect Don Perry. They were married for ten sweet years before Jennifer lost her last match in a three-year battle with cancer terminating a precious love affair. She was a study in absolute grace to the end.
Jennifer Lynn Guy Perry was the daughter of Raymond C. Guy and Jeanne Ann Thumim Guy. She is survived by her husband Don, the Perry family, and one sister, Laura Guy of Clayton, North Carolina.
