Jean (Susie, Sue, Foof) Therese Tylinski, 78, of Indianapolis, IN passed away peacefully Friday, October 18, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones. Jean was born November 12, 1945 in Chicago, IL to the late Sheldon and Elberta Robinson.
Jean met her husband Robert (Bob) through the singles club they belonged to and later married in January of 1971. They leave behind numerous treasured friendships from their singles club that they maintained the rest of their lives.
After Jean and Bob moved to Indianapolis, Jean opened up her own hair salon called Hair Hutch, which she maintained for more than 20 years. After closing her salon, she continued to work in the profession that she loved at other salons in a career that lasted over 50 years. Her kindness and outgoing personality allowed her to create cherished friendships with coworkers and clients that she knew for decades.
Jean is survived by her son Tim Tylinski, daughter-in-law Christy and grandson Ethan of Liberty Township, OH, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to the Tylinski and Robinson families she leaves behind, she was fortunate to be adopted into the Robertson and Luzi families that loved her as one of their own.
In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Tylinski, siblings Tom, Guy, and Mary, and other beloved family members.
There will be a visitation and funeral service on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Indiana Funeral Care, Indianapolis. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm.
