Jean Frances Paradis

Jean Frances (Dennett) Paradis, 79, of Carmel, Indiana died Saturday, March 12, 2022, at Carmel Health & Living in Carmel.

Jean was born in Au Sable Forks, New York, April 6, 1942. She was the daughter of Edward and Florence (Cusson) Dennett.

Jean was a dedicated Christian and devoted her life to Jesus Christ. She was a humble, gentle, and beautiful woman. Her fortitude in spirit and strength in Faith served as examples for all who knew her. She had an active desire to witness the Word of God and touched the lives of countless people.

Eyes gaze at the towering trees

 with their golden leaves;

They stare at the velvet blue sky,

 so high above - -

Feeling a sense of wonder,

 marveling at the way,

You chose the earth’s design

 in Your wise, creative love.

Lord, You are more real to me - -

 than the world that I can see;

You are always there when I pray,

 waiting, listening to whatever I say.

Lord, You are with me now,

 until life’s end;

Joyfully waiting to greet me - -

 just around the bend.

Jean is survived by daughters Kristine Paradis Bastian and Nicole Paradis of Carmel, Indiana; son and daughter-in-law, Kent and Jennifer Paradis of Fishers, Indiana; sisters, Helen Copeland and Ann Schlotter; brothers, John Dennett, Bert Dennett, and Paul Dennett; seven grandchildren, Bobby, Stephen, Brett, Joey, Michael, Tyler, and Makenna; two great grandchildren, Phoenix and Bobby; several nieces and nephews.
