Jayne Evans

Jayne Ann Evans (Sauer), 73, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away in her home on August 24, 2022. Jayne was born on July 11, 1949 in Chicago, IL to Eugene and Dorothy Sauer who precede her in death. Jayne was a loving sister to Barb (Gary) Bingham of Colorado Springs, CO. She was also a loving wife to Robert G. Evans II, they married on Sat April 28th, 1984. in Indianapolis, IN. Jayne was a mother to two children, David (Shelly) McElligott and Kimberly (Michael) Jensen and a dedicated grandmother to 7 grandchildren, Brittney, Hannah, Emma, Elyse, Nolan, Lydia, and Liam. She had 2 step-grandchildren Spencer, and Madeline. She also enjoyed her 6 great-grandchildren and lastly One nephew Scott. Jayne's greatest joy in life was her husband and family. She also enjoyed scenic motorcycle rides with Bob, ballroom dancing, camping, photography along with developing her own photos, and activities with her church family. She had much joy and compassion going on mission trips serving those in need. Jayne and Robert lived together in Hawaii, Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana. Jayne dedicated her life to working for non-profit food banks to serve the hungry until she retired. She loved the holidays and enjoyed baking for her family and collecting Dickens Christmas Village & Annalee decorations. She touched many lives with her joyful spirit and unwavering faith. She is loved by everyone and will be deeply missed.
