Jaxon Kai Weaver-Eagle died in his parents’ arms at Riley Children's Hospital on October 31, 2019. Born at 26 weeks, the family reveled in having six weeks of life here on earth with Jax, every moment in awe of his strength and beauty.
Jax was the son of Lilian 'Lily' Weaver and Alexander 'Alex' Keith Eagle of Carmel, Indiana. He was the answer to their prayers to start their young family with joyful expectation. Jax won the hearts of all who met him, with an unbroken spirit and a peaceful trust in the touch and voices of his parents. Jax will be forever missed.
Jax is greeted in heaven by his great grandparents, Robert "Bo" Swallow (maternal), Elizabeth "Betty" Weaver (maternal), Keith and Loretta Tower (paternal), Garfield Saylor (paternal), Cliff and Rachel Barnes (paternal), Robert Strong and Katherine Lake (paternal).
He is mourned on Earth by his grandparents, Thomas Weaver (maternal), Julia Weaver and David Ring (maternal), Todd Strong and Christine Strong (paternal), and "Rob" Eagle (paternal), as well as his uncle, Thomas Nathan 'Nate' Weaver (maternal), and aunt and uncle, Scarlet Strong and Sean Eagle (paternal). Jax will be missed dearly by his great grandparents Diana Ellenberger (paternal), Richard and Katy Kontos (maternal), Sheri Brownfield (paternal), Tom and Michelle Ellenberger (paternal), Joe and Pat Ellenberger (paternal), Steve and Thelma Strong (paternal), Ellen Saylor (paternal), and Robert and Nancy Weaver (maternal), as well as many great aunts and uncles and cousins and so many dear friends.
A private graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 5th, followed by a Celebration of Jaxon's Life.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations in Jaxon's memory to Indiana University School of Medicine, Neonatology Contributions Fund, payable to “IU Foundation -- IUSM” by mail or online.
