Jason Robert Thomas

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jason Robert Thomas, age 42, on September 22nd 2024. Jason was a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and friend who brought joy and laughter to all who knew him.

Born June 30th, 1982 in Auburn Indiana to Maresia Croft and Freddy Thomas, Jason had a passion for life that was infectious. He cherished his family above all else, dedicating his time to creating unforgettable memories filled with laughter and love. His adventurous spirit was evident in his love for fishing, where he found peace and joy in teaching others how to fish.

After more than a decade honing his skills as a butcher, Jason dreamed of opening his own butcher shop, a venture that would have reflected his passion for quality craftsmanship and community service. His commitment to excellence earned him the respect and admiration of customers and colleagues alike.

Jason's legacy will live on through his family and the countless lives he touched. He will be remembered for his warm smile, generous heart, and unwavering dedication to those he loved.

He is survived by his loving wife, LaTasha Thomas, and their son, Issac Thomas, his sister's Melissa, Tasha and Teresa and their husbands and children. A memorial service will be held at 1pm on Tuesday October 1st, 2024 at Indiana Funeral Care. In lieu of flowers, the family requests your presence to celebrate Jason's memory.
