Jason L. Lynn

Jason Lee Lynn, 85, passed away peacefully Saturday, August 27, 2022, with family by his side.

He was born on Sunday, January 3, 1937 to the late Thomas Perry and Gracie Dale (Payton) Lynn in Liberty, Kentucky.  Jason was dearly loved by his family and friends.  He liked to spend his time in the spring and summer putting in and tending a large garden with his wife, children, and grandchildren, while eating the uncooked sweet corn straight off the stalk. 

Jason’s biggest hobby and passion was the golf course.  He would take trips annually to play golf with his friends making wonderful memories.  Jason had a good sense of humor, he laughed a lot, and always seemed to have the right thing to say to lift a conversation.  Many will remember him as a hard worker, keeping up a beautiful farm, installing fence, cutting grass, and working at the golf course to support his wife and family.

Jason is survived by his two sons, Charles D. Lynn, and Mark A. Lynn: six grandchildren, Cassy Blankenship, Gregory Lynn, Summer Dale, Dallas Lynn, Megan Lynn, Nick Lynn and fourteen great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Nellie N. Lynn: sons, Gregory A. Lynn, Thomas E. Lynn: and daughter, Ginger L. Lynn.

Visitation is Wednesday, August 31, 2022, 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Indiana Funeral Care Greenwood Chapel. A second visitation will be Thursday, September 1, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM.

Funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM.

Burial to follow at Acton Cemetery, Acton, Indiana.
