Janet Srock

Janet Srock passed away surrounded by those she loved on January 11th 2024. Janet was born on that same date in 1982 in Washington state. Janet grew up in Pennsylvania but made Indianapolis her home.

She is survived by her mother, Covert Loughhead; as well as her siblings, Dawn, Brett, Julius and Keith. She was married to and loved by her husband, Jeremy Hockett, who was by her side until the end, as he was in life. In her free time she enjoyed watching her nieces' and nephews' games and spending time with her dog, Sinatra, as well as baking. Janet turned her passion for baking into her profession earning her degree in Pastry Arts from the Pennsylvania Culinary School and she was well known for her cookies and pastries. Janet was a loyal friend with a big heart and someone who opened her door to all. She was a beloved aunt who loved and adored her nieces and nephews. A godmother to many, who she showered with love and a sister to those by birth and those she adopted along the way. She leaves behind a hole in the hearts of friends and family and will be missed with love. 

There will be a visitation and funeral service on Saturday, January 20th, 2024, at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel. The visitation is from 2:00pm to 4:00pm with the funeral service to follow at 4:00pm
