Jane L. Allen

Jane Allen 92, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on December 17, 2023 following a brief illness.

Jane was born in Ephrata, PA on January 12, 1931 to Lloyd and Lillian Peiffer. She graduated from Ephrata High School before attending Nursing School.

She met and married Jim Allen in 1950 (who predeceased her). Eventually they moved to Indianapolis where they raised 4 daughters.

Jane was preceded in death by a brother, John and 2 sisters Peggy and June. She is survived by one sister Carole(Joel) Heistand.

Also surviving are her daughters Debra, Pam (Ed) Starr, Janis (Ken) Agee, and Jamie (Bill) Weiser and a brother-in-law Don (Kay) Allen.

She was the proud grandmother to 5 grandchildren Greg (Jenny) Platt, Katelyn (Shane) Smith, Mitch (Ashley) Agee, Sam (Tori) Agee and Sabrina (Colby) Starr-Tomlin.

She was even more proud of her 4 great-grandchildren

Services will be held at Epworth United Methodist Church on Friday, January 12 with visitation from 1:00-2:30 and a memorial service directly following.
