James “Jim” Samuel Copeland peacefully passed away on October 5, 2021, at the age of 59 in Indianapolis, IN. Jim was a loving father, husband, and brother who enjoyed nothing more than grilling out and being with his family. He lived his life centered around Christ and carried that love throughout every moment of his life. Jim was a member of the service team at iTown Church, where he spent most Sundays.
Jim is survived by his wife, Kim Copeland; his children Alyssa Copeland, Brock Copeland, Ryan (Stacey) McCreery, and Lonnie McCreery, whom he shared with his former spouse, Mary Copeland; his stepchildren Adam Quigley and Allie Quigley; sisters Priscilla (Mike) Roderick and Debbie (Robin) Bean; his one grandson Levi McCreery; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Jim is preceded in death by his parents, Delano and Bill Copeland; brother Jeff Copeland; and sister Jackie Bowers.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday October 12th, from 5 - 7 pm at the Indiana Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46250.
