James Alan Robinson Sr.

James Alan Robinson Sr. 33, of Indianapolis, IN. passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 18, 2024. James was born on November 30, 1990, in Indianapolis to Holly Robinson and Chuck Surgeon.

James biggest achievement is that he recently obtained his High School GED. He was so proud of himself. He worked in construction for a short time. However, he found his niche in lawn care. He took great pride in his ability to transform a client’s yard into a lawn of his dreams.

James’ greatest moments were spent with his son, James Alan Robinson Jr., James Sr. enjoyed playing video games with James Jr. James Sr. loved his many nieces and nephews and was delighted to spend time with them. He was a fierce protector of his sisters. He enjoyed making people happy. James was baptized at Harvest Time Church. James father would always say “he is stylion and profilin”.

James is survived by his mother; Holly Robinson, son; James Alan Robinson Jr., grandfather; Chuck Best, siblings; Kathryn Robinson, Brooklyn Powers, Lyssa Powers, Michael Bennet, Tiffany Surgeon, Jessica Surgeon, Tabitha Surgeon, aunts; Jess Robinson, uncles; John Robinson, Chad Wilson, Gary Snyders, fiancé; Tiffany Gatch, and many nieces and nephews.

James is preceded in death by his father; Chuck Surgeon, grandmother; Debra Best, great grandmother; Kathryn Thompson.
