James Robertson

We are sad to announce the passing of James E. Robertson Sr. of Indianapolis, IN. He died at the age of 60 on September 27, 2022.

James passed away surrounded by his loved ones after battling with heart failure. The funeral will be held for family and friends on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 3:00 PM with calling beginning at 1:00 PM until time for service.

James Robertson was born on January 19, 1962 in Flint, MI, to the late Roscoe and Alberta Robertson. He leaves behind his children, James Robertson Jr., Perci Robertson, Jameice Robertson, Katika Robertson, and KaMeka Robertson; twelve grandchildren, nephews, David Shamley; four nieces, Taneesha Robertson, Kala Sanders, ChaTonia West, Ladavia Shamley; two sisters, Travisteen Robertson Smith and Tonya Herbert; and his common law wife, Tarsha Williams (Bones) 

James is preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Jamonty C. Washington lI.

James was known for being a truck driver as he loved traveling, his famous juices, cooking, and movie nights. He had a genuine love for everyone he cared for and everyone loved James. He will be missed but never forgotten.
