James Jerome Raymer Sr.

James Jerome Raymer Sr. 89 of McCordsville, IN. passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2024. James was born to the late Ernest M. Raymer and Fannie Mae Raymer on December 17, 1934.

James proudly served in the US Navy for 4 years. After serving in the military, he married the love of his life Billie Steinhauer. Together they had two sons, James Jr. and Robbie. Jimmy retired from Chrysler in 1998 after many years of service. Jimmy was able to enjoy 27 years of retirement. During his retirement he enjoyed fishing, shopping and watching NASCAR. He also loved caring for his lawn and spending time with his family.

James is survived by his son; James Jerome (Susie) Raymer Jr., siblings; Robert (Fonda) Raymer, Betty Sue (Bob) White, 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 2 great, great grandchildren.

James was preceded in death by his wife; Billie Raymer, son; Robbie Raymer, siblings; Patsy Linville, Joan Sanders, Edward Raymer, grandson; Ryan Milkey, and great grandson; Braxton Raymer.
