James "Jimmy" Arthur Vespa

November 3, 1981 — August 23, 2021

With deepest sorrow we announce that James Arthur Vespa (Jimmy), age 39, our most beloved son, brother, family member and friend passed suddenly on Monday August 23, 2021.

Those who knew Jimmy, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives.

Jimmy will be missed every day by his Mother, Vicki Vespa, sisters Christy, Cheryl, Frankie (husband Bennett), brother Bill, grandparents Shirley and Robert Rummel, nieces and nephews David, Gage, Syenna, Logan, Chauncey, Kian, Christian, Camdyn, Carstyn, many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Preceded in death by Father, Frank Vespa, grandparents Blodwyn and Frank Vespa.

Jimmy was a kind-hearted soul who wanted nothing more than to be accepted, make people smile and lend a hand when needed. He was a dedicated worker that always went above and beyond what was expected.

He had a love for all things outdoors. He loved mowing, gardening and the simple pleasures of the outside atmosphere. Jimmy’s favorite flower was the yellow tulip, but really all were loved.

Jimmy enjoyed the little things in life. A beautiful sunrise, that he would often share through a good morning text. The feel of a morning rain, the smell of fresh cut grass.

He enjoyed cooking (especially fish), eating, Sour Patch Kids, Brain Teasers, Scrabble, Boppit, Meditation, the mountains, Baseball, Frisby Golf, hitting golf balls with his sister, music and quotes. He got great enjoyment playing with his nieces and nephews, they all loved his fort building skills.

Missing him greatly along with their daily treats, fur babies: Bosco, Yoshi, Winnie and Obi.

Jimmy was inventive, creative and very knowledgeable. He was always curious with the way the human mind works. He believed it would stretch as far as you allowed it. Jimmy took pride that he was self-taught and fluent in several foreign languages. Recently his mom joined in on the experience, this made for fun conversation.

Jimmy was known for his infectious smile. Life wasn’t always easy for him, but he always made the best of it.

This is “our” Jimmy, we will forever love and miss him.

You’re my favorite son! Love mom

“At the end of the day, I’m at peace, because my intentions are good and my heart is pure.”

Keep Shining and Stay Humble!!!
