James Keven Ross, 63, of Indianapolis was called home after his battle with brain cancer on Friday, July 9, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on Monday, July 7, 1958 in Beech Grove, Indiana to James P. Ross and Nancy Taylor.
James graduated from Harry E. Wood High School in 1976. He worked in many trades, as an electrician, mechanic and home remodeler. He was a fan of the Indianapolis Colts. James loved nature and being outdoors especially fishing and hunting. He loved his family very deeply.
He is survived by his parents, Nancy & James Taylor and James P. & Marye Ross; children, James B. Ross, Angie Ross, Jennifer “Bunny” Ross and James Ross Taylor; grandchildren Brianna, Tyon, Dayvion, Dominic, Aliana, and Jayon; sisters, Debbie Hummel, Teresa Ross, Trisha Sims; stepsister, Michelle Honeycutt; and a multitude of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Clotee Sharp and Leona (Robert) Houchins and paternal grandparents, Leon & Margaret Ross.
Visitation will be held at Indiana Funeral Care, 2433 E. Main St, Greenwood, IN 46143, officiated by Pastor David McColley on Friday, July 16, 2021, with visitation from 11:00-1:00pm with services beginning at 1:00 pm. Graveside service will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, 1977 S State Rd 135, Greenwood, IN 46143.
