James Joseph Clayton, 95, of Danville, IN passed away April 1, 2024. He born on May 5, 1928 in Lafayette, IN to George Raymond Jr. and Eva Marie (Ernst) Clayton.
Jim was a salesman for various companies as a rep. The last few years he had his own company, employing both of his sons. After retiring, Jim and Barb moved to Little River, SC, which is on the intercostal waterway. They traveled the world, but he loved Bermuda the most.
Jim is survived by his loving wife, Barb; 4 children, Cindy (Jim died 2021) Foley, Dan (Cindi) Clayton, Terry (Steve) Luesse, and Joe Clayton; 7 grandchildren, PJ (Diane) Foley, Matt (Amanda) Foley, Katie Foley, Kevin (Katie) Clayton, Ryan (Lindsay) Clayton, Scott Luesse, Jessica (David) Pickens; 11 great grandchildren, Ki, Haddie, Phin Allen, Abi, Nate, Hannah, Andrew Clayton, Coraline and Georgia Foley, Wyatt and Londyn Clayton.
