James Eric Hickle

60, of Indianapolis passed away unexpectantly in his home on July 14, 2022. Jim was born in Lafayette, Indiana to Howard and Janice Hickle of Fowler, Indiana.

Jim graduated from Benton County High School where he enjoyed golfing and spending time with his many friends. In college he was a part of Alpha Beta Gamma, that honors successful students studying business in college. After graduating from Vincennes University with an Associate Degree in Distributive Marketing, he worked for Graham Electronics as a Purchasing Agent and Quote Coordinator. After his career at Graham Electronics, Jim drove for Uber, allowing him the freedom to enjoy his family and volunteer activities.

Jim enjoyed golfing and playing poker with his buddies. He was also an avid Purdue sports fan attending many games throughout his life. He enjoyed volunteering as a little league baseball coach, running cars for the Scouts Pine Wood Derby, and served in many volunteer roles for the Brownsburg High School Band the most enjoyable being one of the prop masters.

Survivors include son, Jacob; father and mother, Howard and Janice; brother, Kevin (Samantha); sister, Tammy Hickle Trotter; nieces, Jamie Hickle and Jennifer Hickle; great nephew, Garrison.

Proceeded in death by brother-in law, Rick Trotter.

The family will have a celebration of life at the Benton Country Club in Jim's home town of Fowler, Indiana at a later date.
