James H. Green

James Harvey Green, 82, passed away on August 19, 2024, in Indianapolis, IN.

 He was born January 07, 1942, in Beech Grove, Indiana to Luther and Lorrine (Day) Green. 

 James married Yvonne Yates on February 17, 1967, in Indianapolis. They were happily married until her death in 2010. James served in the Army from 1964-1966 and was stationed at Fort Hood and deployed to Vietnam.

 James is survived by his sister, Gloria Williams of New Palestine; aunt, Leona Johnson of Terre Haute; nieces: Julie Zorich, Jennifer Shelton, Carrie Boland, Danielle Dennett, Hannah Huffman, Toni Carlson and Amanda Green, and his nephew William Weese.

 James is preceded in death by his wife, his mother and father and his siblings: Richard Green, Melvin Green and Nancy (Green) Clinard.

 A graveside service with military honors for James Green will be held on Friday, at 2:30 PM at Greenwood Cemetery, Greenwood, Indiana.
