Jacquelyn Joan (Clark) Pasko, age 90 of Carmel, IN passed away Friday, July 26, 2024. She was born May 13, 1934, to Charles and Margaret (Shanta) Clark.
While living in Hammond, Jackie attended Edison Grade School and Hammond High School. She modeled at Spiegel and worked at Youngstown Sheet & Tube as a secretary. She was a past member of Beta Sigma Phi and a past secretary of the Rosary at St. Catherine of Sienna Church and was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society in Munster, Schererville & Noblesville, IN. She also was a member of the Red Hatters in Noblesville, IN.
Jackie’s greatest devotion and passion was being a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved cooking, dancing, bowling, ceramics, pinocle & euchre, entertaining, going to her children & grandchildren’s events and spending as much time with her family. While raising her children, she volunteered with school and scouting duties, as well as attending all her kids’ sporting events. She was always the first to be generous with her time and giving to people who were less fortunate.
Anyone who met Jackie knew how much family meant to her. She was always talking about them and never failed to have a recent picture available. She would never miss an opportunity to travel anywhere to be with them for a birthday, wedding, holiday or a mere visit.
She was a woman of strong convictions, but none more than being faithful to her religion, marriage and God. She knew her faith was what always saved her and guided her through the hardships she faced in her life. She knew God, religion & family were intertwined, and that family always needed to be there for each other.
Jacquelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Norbert Pasko; her son, Ronald Pasko; her brother, Donald Clark; and her parents Charles and Margaret (Shanta) Clark. She is survived by her daughters, Michelle Burns and Jill (David) Nief; her grandchildren Robert (Juliana) Burns, Kelly Burns, Ashley (Travis) Nief, Kaitlyn (John) Nief and Sean Nief; her great-grandchildren Charlotte Stevens, Nina Curtis, Nathan Curtis, Donovan Burns and Jack Stevens; brother-in-law Eugene (Jean) Pasko, and nieces Laura White and Lisa (JD) Pasko-McWilliams.
Her memory is and shall always be a blessing to her family and friends and to the many people who were fortunate enough to have her pass through their lives.
