Jacquelyn "Jackie" L. Hall

It is with deep sadness that we mourn the passing of Jacquelyn “Jackie” L. Hall, of Indianapolis, formerly Greenwood, on Saturday, December 28th in Indianapolis. She was born May 14th, 1947 to Robert and Marcella (Dickey) Greene.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Charles Hall II and Rebecca (William) Edlin; grandchildren, Rachel Cory, Joshua Hall, Uriah Beasely, Obediah Beasely, Zebediah Beasely, Kaleigh (Brian) Biszantz, Jordan (Alexis) Edlin; great-grandchildren, Brayden Goodman, Tempris Greenfield, Brelynn Hall, Ainsley Hall and Clint and Charleigh Biszantz; sisters, Betty Breen and Brenda Daniel; as well as many extended family members and dear friends, including all of her friends at Crestwood and lifelong friends from Maple Grove.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Charles Hall; her parents and her brother, Robert Greene II.

She was a kind, giving soul. She proudly worked for Center Grove Schools for over 26 years, Maple Grove being “her building” to take care of as head custodian. The friendships made there brought houseboat trip vacations and many, many lunches with dear friends after her retirement. She never let her illness stop her, staying active until the end at her apartment complex, with bingo, coffee and donuts, day trips to the casino or wherever the bus was going. She was always first in line to help set up for events and keep things running smoothly. She found many dear friends while living there. She loved her puzzle books that kept her brain sharp and she could have won all kinds of money had she ever got the chance to be on Wheel of Fortune or Jeopardy, her nightly appointment TV shows. She will be missed beyond measure by all of us who loved her.

Services will be at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel,  Thursday, January 2, 2025. Visitation is 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. Funeral service immediately following visitation. 

Graveside service will be Wednesday, January 8, 2025, 2:30 pm at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood, Indiana.
