Jack Hensley Jr., 71, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away Saturday, September 26, 2020 at his home.
He was born on Thursday, October 14, 1948 to the late Jack and Anna Mae (Hensley) Hensley in Knox County, Tennessee.
Jack enlisted into the United States Army in 1968 and served in Vietnam from June 27, 1969 until February 23, 1970. He retired from the military in 1985.
He loved fishing and going to church at Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Acton, Indiana where he was a member for over 20 years.
Jack is survived by his wife of 50 years, Saundra L. (Poe) Hensley; son, Brad Fleck and his wife; sisters, Sue Dyer and her husband Ray, Nancy Welch, Jabo Faulkner and her husband Jimmy; brother, Robert Hensley; four grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm at Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 7925 Huff Street, Acton, Indiana 46259.
Funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm.
Burial to immediately follow at Acton Cemetery, Acton, Indiana
