Hilda Jackson passed away the night of July 22, 2021. She passed away peacefully surrounded by family. Hilda lived a passionate life that energized everyone around her. She loved to dance, laugh, and love. She gave her time and money freely to those in need. Her legacy to all of us is the lesson that life is meant to be lived to the fullest. She traveled across the country and made friends everywhere she went. She spoke of the importance to not let adversity paralyze you, but instead to use hardship as a way to inspire others. She never let anything prevent her from living life to the fullest, and she wished this for others as well.
She is survived by her husband: Frank, daughters: Jennifer and Shannon, son: William, and many grandchildren who loved her deeply.
Hilda lived a vibrant life in both Indiana and California, so the family will be having two memorial services.
The Indiana Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, August 8th at 1:00-3:00 PM (EST) at Indiana Funeral Care, 2433 E Main St, Greenwood, IN 46143
The California Memorial service is still being planned. Please reach out to her daughter Jennifer Jackson at jenjackson_23@yahoo.com for questions about the memorial services.
Hilda loved gardens and the family is planning floral arrangements for the memorial services. If you are interested in supporting the floral arrangement, please reach out to her son William Jackson at wjjacks@gmail.com.
