He attended Lawrence Central High School, where he began developing his passion for life and learning. Music and bike riding were also central to his life, providing him with both relaxation and adventure.
His childhood was filled with memorable bike rides and explorations, reflecting his adventurous spirit and curiosity. He enjoyed his coffee, Hans(Pete) couldn't go a day without his coffee. As he grew older, Hans (Pete) became a man of many talents. His intelligence and quick wit made him a beloved figure among friends and family. He took pride in his work, which included various side jobs in carpets and flooring, and he approached every task with dedication and skill. Hans (Pete) was a fighter, demonstrating immense strength and resilience throughout his life, particularly in his final days. His courage and determination were an inspiration to those who knew him.
He is survived by his sisters April and Kathy, along with his nieces and nephews, who will remember him fondly for his humor, kindness, and unwavering spirit. Hans (Pete) was preceded in death by his sisters Peachtra and Heidi, and his parents Barbara Hauser and father, Hans Hauser.
