Gregory Earl Winborn, also known as "G". was born on September 15, 1967 to John A. and Mary L. Winborn in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Gregory has been a resident of Indianapolis, Indiana since 1994.
Gregory's remarkable life came to an end on October 19, 2019.
Gregory attended Northrop High School in Ft. Wayne, Indiana and received his GED later on in his life. He was an electrician by trade. He was a machine operator; he worked for 3M for many years and was recently employed with AI innovations.
Gregory was united in marriage to Alexandria (Smith) on March 1, 1994. They shared 25 blessed years of love, fun and adventure together.
Gregory enjoyed fishing, grilling, and spending time with his grandkids. He was a die-hard Colts fan, so if you knew him you knew on any given Sunday he was dressed in his Colts gear and yelling at the TV calling all the plays (correctly). Greg loved opening up his home to family and friends and had many gatherings. He loved to travel and shop (ya'll know his clothing and shoe game was unmatched).
He leaved to cherish his memory his loving wife of 25 years Alexandria Winborn; three daughters LaShanda (Brent) Tisdale of Fort Wayne, IN, Alysha (Jerrell) Douglas of Indianapolis, IN, and Jai'Shawn Winborn of Fort Wayne, IN; two sons William (Kandace) Winborn of Fort Wayne, IN, and Cameron Smith of Indianapolis, IN; father John A. Winborn; siblings Rita Winborn, Deborah Poole, Jeffery (Geneva) Winborn, all of Fort Wayne, IN, and Dennis Winborn of Gasden, AL; eleven grandchildren and a host of aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, and other relatives.
He is preceded in death by his mother Mary L. Winborn.
