Our dear mother, Grace May (Tuttle) Foster, 81, departed this world peacefully after a long battle with heart disease and dementia on August 15th. Grace was born April 9th, 1941, to Jesse and George Tuttle in Indianapolis. Grace was a member of the “KEPS,” at Arsenal Technical High School, where she graduated from in 1959. After graduation, Grace worked at Addressograph-Multigraph where she met her husband, Jerry Allen Foster (Pendleton). Grace and Jerry moved to Carmel, in 1976 where she was a loving and devoted mother to their two children, Stephen Ross Foster (Bloomington, IN) and Stacie Elaine (Foster) Spears (Dallas, TX). Grace was exceptionally compassionate. She would help anyone who needed anything and often did. She was very kind. All that knew her, knew her kitchen table was always available, day or night at any time for coffee and conversation; and Grace was fun-loving. Many long nights and early mornings playing cards, dancing the night away, or midnight breakfasts following bowling with her beloved sisters and nieces. For her family, there will never be another Gracie, Gracie May, Graceful or Amazing Grace and we are only comforted by our belief that one day our spirits will be reunited. Grace was predeceased by her husband, Jerry Allen Foster, her siblings: Cheri McGuire, Francis McGrath, Mary Burns, Virgil Tuttle, Roy Tuttle, and Mike Tuttle. She is survived by her son Stephen Foster (Bloomington, IN) her daughter Stacie Spears (Byron, grandson Brady) of Dallas, TX, her sister Alice (Tuttle) Pressly, Indianapolis, and countless cousins, nieces, nephews and friends near and far. Viewing services for Grace will be held Tuesday, August 23rd from 3-7 pm at Indiana Funeral Care 8151 Allisonville Rd, Indianapolis, IN, 46250. The funeral will be held at 11:00 am at Indiana Funeral Care, with graveside services at Oak Lawn cemetery following.
