Geraldine departed this life of Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at the age of 81. She was born on April 1st, 1940, in Augusta, Georgia to the late Leroy and Pauline (Rivers) Montgomery. Geraldine was the youngest daughter of three siblings.
Geraldine relocated to Indianapolis after her marriage to Henry Wilcox, Jr. From that marriage came three beautiful children. She was a hard worker through out her life. She retired from Alpha Nursing Home and owned a small business, Indy Trade Night Club.
Geraldine was a very kind, generous, and loving mother. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She was such a beautiful person, both inside and out. She also enjoyed shopping, cooking, music, and dancing. Her favorite song was stairway to heaven.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Wilcox, Jr.; daughter, Kimmy Wilcox; and her sister, Myrtis Williams. She is survived by her children, Sharon Wilcox, James Wilcox; brother, Reverend Rivers; grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephew, and a host of other family & friends.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at New Life Community Church of Truth,6343 Massachusetts Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46226. Visitation will be held from 11 A.M. until the time of service. A committal service to follow at Sutherland Park Cemetery.
