Georgia Ruth Benson

Georgia Ruth Benson, age 88, of Indianapolis, died Monday, January 11, 2021. Georgia was born on July 7, 1932 to the late George and Ruth (Weisbrot) Bigelow.

Georgia attended Arsenal Technical high school where she met the love of her life, Ronald Gene Benson (deceased). She married her high school sweetheart in 1952 and raised two sons; Eric (deceased) and Drew.

She is survived by her son, Drew, and his partner, Bill Coyne; 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10am to 12pm (EST), Saturday, January 16, at Indiana Funeral Care. Funeral services will be at Indiana Funeral Care, Saturday, January 16, 2020 at 12 pm (EST). Burial will be at Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis following the funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to The American Cancer Society.
