Gary Lee Pitman

Gary Lee Pitman, 68, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on August 29, 2021. He was born on October 31, 1952. He is now in Heaven with his mom and dad, Beatrice and Elvis Pitman, as well his cousin and best friend growing up, Tom Watson, amongst other close loved ones who have also passed.

Gary worked and retired from Heating and Cooling and found a best friend for life, Cricket. He enjoyed his job and his retirement to the fullest.

He is survived by his son, Gary L. Pitman II. His son will always remember dad letting him drive the boat, a great memory. He is also survived by his sister, Betty J. Pitman, also his caretaker for many years and until the end. He is survived by his sister, his son, along with his 3 grandchildren: Hannah, Abbie, and Max Pitman, as well as his nephews and neice: Lance, Jason, Randy, and Ashlynn Huff (LoCaccio), and his most loved cousins he grew up with, Fuzzy and Joyce.

Gary loved the songs "Simple Man", "Tight Fittin' Jeans", and "House of the Rising Sun" for which he played on his guitar, amongst many others. Music was his favorite passion.
