Gary Lee Brewer

April 24, 1952 — December 14, 2020

Gary Lee Brewer, 68, entered the gates of Heaven on December 14, 2020 at Riverwalk Village in Noblesville after a lengthy illness. He was born on April 24, 1952 to the late Paul Wendell Brewer and Betty Lou (Rockhill) Brewer.

Gary proudly served his country in the US Air Force and the Air National Guard, retiring after 34 years of service. Gary graduated from Alexandria Monroe High School in 1970 and attended IUPUI in Indianapolis. He also worked at Allison Transmission and for Eli Lilly in private security.

Gary is survived by Elizabeth Brewer, his significant other and best friend of more than 25 years. Also, surviving are his siblings, Richard Brewer of Cicero, Donald Brewer also of Riverwalk Village in Noblesville, Mick Brewer, Joy Kirk and Jayne Sinclair all of Anderson and maternal Aunt Peggy (Rockhill) Smith along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also preceded in death by his very spoiled and loved German Shepherd, Coco.

Cremation services were handled by Indiana Funeral Care in Indianapolis and a memorial service with military honors will be held 12:00pm February 27, 2021 with visitation from 11:00am-12:00pm. Gary will be laid to rest at Elwood Cemetery following services.
