Garland S. Hornback, 66, Franklin Indiana died peacefully at her home with her loving brother and sisters by her side after a battle with cancer on Wednesday, October 14, 2020.
Garland was born on August 21, 1954 in Bloomington Indiana to Winfred and Barbara (West) Harden. She graduated from Manuel High School and Indiana Vocational Technical College in Indianapolis. She worked for many years as an LPN before retiring. She was an avid Nascar fan, especially Jimmy Johnson as well as a classic movie fan. She was a loving and kind mother, sister, and aunt who would do anything for you.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband’s Claude Dale Craig and Jerry Hornback.
She is survived by her daughter; Barbara J. Shull (Tom); grandchildren, Noah Shull, Haley Shull, Madison Shull, and Cheyenne Shull; brothers, Doug Harden (Barbara), Jess Harden (Dorenda), Frankie Harden (Wanda); sisters, Jackie Broaddus, Rebecca Bullock, Judy Bevins (Alan), Penny Bell, Shelly Wissler (Keith); 16 nieces and nephews; 25 great nieces and nephews; and 1 great great nephew.
She will be missed by all her family and friends.
She will be cremated with no visitation or services held. A memorial dinner will be held for her close immediate family at a date to be determined by invitation only due to Covid 19 restrictions.
