Galya Lynn Murray-Stanifer

Galya Lynn Murray Stanifer, born September 14, 1961 in Ekalaka, Montana was a people person and a mother of 2, who departed her earthly home in Noblesville, Indiana on September 15, 2021 at 2:28 pm.


Her main purposes in life were to live life to the fullest and to serve others. Galya was a compassionate, loving, funny, loud person who enjoyed embarrassing herself and others. She never took herself too seriously but believed that each day was what you made it. Every day was a good day which was expressed through her brilliant smile.


Galya was the 7th of 12 children born to Alice and John Murray. She married Larry Stanifer on February 14, 2014. She is survived by her husband and two daughters Natasha Dickerson and Renetta LeMaster (John), stepson Kevin Stanifer and her favorite nephew Stetson Ridley. She was loved greatly by her granddaughters, Nakia Dickerson and Natalia Dickerson; her siblings J. David Murray (Jenny), Don Murray (Susan), Barbara Ridley (Lyle), Beverly Mills (Gordon), Duane Murray (Sonia), Charlotte Edmonston, Cynthia Dudley (Versil), Novalea Saligoe (Joseph), Connie Murray, Ruth South, Eric Murray (Lina), in-laws Sharon Hersh (Richard), Gary Stanifer, Brenda Post (Jerry) and Ann Williams (Perry). Her life will be celebrated by her numerous nieces and nephews.


Galya was preceded in death by her granddaughter Sloane LeMaster, her parents, and her brother-in-law Curtis Edmonston,
