Freddie Stevenson

On September 30, 2022, our loving mother, Freddie J. Stevenson, was taken home by the Lord at Franciscan Hospital Indianapolis, IN after a lengthy illness. She passed at the age of 76. Freddie J. Stevenson, affectionately called "Jean" by everyone who knew, her was born June 15, 1946, to parents Rev. James and Hattie Dobbins. Jean (a homemaker) was known for her cooking abilities and her passion for singing.

Ms. Jean was a member of Zion Temple 4 Square Gospel Church in Fontana, CA. where she resided for the past 30 years and touched many lives with her service to the church.

Ms. Stevenson is preceded in death by her parents, Rev. James Dobbins and Hattie Dobbins; her four brothers, Clarence Dobbins, Charles Dobbins, Billy Dobbins, and Rev. Jerry Dobbins; two sisters, Dorothy Dobbins and Rev. Mildred Fears; two great grandchildren, Journee and Dash Eiland.

Ms. Jean is survived by her son, Michael (Angel) Ballard; her daughters, Nicole Ballard and Kimberly (Darren) Eiland; her brothers, James Jr, Ernest (Gale), and Bobby Dobbins; her five grandchildren; Shamequa Ballard, Ashley (David) Smith, Danae, Darren Jr, and Dhani Eiland; her five great grandchildren, MaKenzie, MaKayla, Isabella, Damari, and Sybil; her brother-in-law, Leon Fears; as well as a host nieces, nephews, relatives, and loving friends.

Mom, you will be greatly missed by all the people you knew and the lives you touched. Your beautiful spirit will be a ever present reminder of why you were loved and adored by so many people.
