Freddie Ray Haynes 84, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on Monday, September 16, 2024. Freddie was born on September 30, 1939, in Duff, TN to Fred C. Haynes and Emma Haynes. 

Freddie has lived in Indianapolis for over 58 yrs. He has a master’s degree in engineering and worked as an inspector for Rolls Royce. Freddie also proudly served in the US Army and US Air Force. 

Freddie loved fishing and hunting; in his younger years he also loved camping and traveling. He loved spending time with his family, especially his great grandchildren. Freddie was very close to all his siblings. He married the love of his life, Priscilla L. Haynes on, January 20, 1968, in Campbell County Tennessee. He was the best husband, father, and friend, and loved helping those in need. 

Freddie is survived by his 3 children; Tina Coffin of Indianapolis, IN, Wayne Haynes of Indianapolis, IN, Tresa Quick (Tim Quick) of Indianapolis, IN: grandchildren; Nicholas-Allen Stone ( Cayle Stone) of Fortville IN, Kelsey Haynes of Greenwood IN, Samantha Gaddis of Indianapolis IN, Ashton Quick of Indianapolis IN, Braydon Quick of Indianapolis IN, Aaron Cheeseman of Indianapolis IN: great grandchildren; Addison Stone, Avery Stone, Brantley Haynes: siblings; Janie Bolden of OH, Ralph Haynes of OH, and many nieces and nephews. 

Freddie is proceeded in death by his wife of 57 years Priscilla L Haynes: grandchildren; Troy Aaron Haynes, Tony Allen Haynes: siblings; Tommy Haynes, Freda Roop, Marjorie Gibson: parents; Fred C. Haynes and Emma Haynes. 

Services will take place on Monday, September 23, 2024, at 1:00 pm. Visitation take place at Indiana Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Rd. Indianapolis, IN 46250, from 11:00 am till time of service.
