Frances L. O’Hara passed away October 24, 2021. Born on July 21, 1942 in Indianapolis, Indiana, she was the third child of Nellie Wright and Ruben Starks.
Frances graduated from Crispus Attucks High School with the class of 1959. She worked as a phlebotomist for Methodist Hospital until 2002 and then for Span Cleaning Services until she retired.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents, her eldest son Kevin Lee Hodges, her sister Helen Irene Wright, and her brother Robert Joseph Wright. She is survived by her children Charmaine Andrea Johnson, Christopher Lamont Johnson and Lesley Yvette O’Hara, and two grandchildren, Ravaughn White and Orrin Thompson (Samantha).
Funeral services will take place on October 29, 2021 at Indiana Funeral Care, Harry W. Moore Chapel, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46250. There will be a viewing from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and the service will follow at 1:00 pm.
