Florence Mae Geabhart

Florence Mae Geabhart, 85, departed this earth Saturday, December 14, 2019 amongst family and friends at the Wildwood HealthCare Facility in Indianapolis, IN. Born on March 3, 1934 as the eldest daughter of Charles Geabhart Sr., and Florence Lillian Geabhart (Owens), Florence Mae was born and raised in Indianapolis, IN.
Florence, an alumnus of Shortridge High School had an extensive career with AFL CIO that expanded over 30 years after high school graduation. Her career extended her the ability to help her family whenever she wanted to, and witnessed the birth of her child, Lisa Marie Geabhart, with longtime companion Robert Lee Smith.
Florence Mae, daughter, sister, mother, and aunt is proceeded in death by her parents, Charles and Florence Lillian Geabhart, longtime companion Robert Lee Smith, and nephew Timothy Magness. Florence, loved and cherished by many leaves to cherish her memory daughter, Lisa Geabhart, sister, Lottie Magness, brother, Charles Geabhart Jr., two nieces, three nephews, six great nieces, three great nephews, three great-great nieces, and one great-great nephew.
Services will be held on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at 12 pm at Indiana Funeral Care, Harry W. Moore Chapel, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, with visitation prior to the service beginning at 11 am.
