Everett C. Bahrke, Jr.

Everett Bahrke, Jr., age 76, passed away on August 17, 2024.

Everett was born in Alexandria, MN to Everett Bahrke Sr. and M. Lucille Bahrke. Everett married Vicki Bahrke of Fort Wayne, IN on October 22nd 1971.

Everett was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to go hunting, fishing, and camping. He was also a huge fan of Western movies and tv shows and John Wayne was his favorite actor. But above all else, he was a family man. Family was the most important thing to him. 

He held a special place in his heart for young children, especially his grand daughter and great granddaughter. One of his favorite past times was sitting out on Halloween and handing out candy to the children as they came by. It did not matter what the weather was like, he was out there with candy and a smile. His caring personality and great sense of humor will be greatly missed by all that came to know him. Per his son Douglas, his son's friends would come over just to hang out with Everett. They would call him Boliver J. Shaggnasty, or Mr. Shaggs for short. 

Everett is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Vicki Bahrke (Walda), his sons Douglas and Daniel, his grandchildren Anastasia, Kayla, Tyson, and Jacob Daniel, his great granddaughter, Willow, and his 2 sisters, Candice and Cheri.

He was preceded in death by Everett Bahrke (Father), Margaret Bahrke (Mother), his brother Dean, his sister Paula, and his son David.

Public Viewing will be held Friday, 23rd of August, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Indiana Funeral Care, Harry W. Moore Chapel.

Services for Everett Bahrke, Jr. will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Indiana Funeral Care, Harry W. Moore Chapel. A burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial contribution in Everett's name to Riley Children's Hospital.
