Erma J. Dixon (88) went home with Jesus with her unfailing faith.

Mom was born in Knifley, Kentucky on July 20, 1936. Mom attended Pleasant Valley Community Church in Middletown. She did missionary work with dad in Mexico.

Mom worked for the Anderson Community School Food Association and was the main dish cook. She received awards on some of her recipes.

She is survived by her three daughters, Kathy (Chuck) Wainscott, Lori Dixon, Rosie (Martin) Beane; grandchildren Brandon (Danielle) Dashler, Dustin Wainscott, Kelsi Dashler, Emily Dashler, Lynsey (Lori) Beane, Joshua Beane; great grandchildren Katie, Zachary, Oliver, Lilyanna, Skylar, Eden, and Easton; Brothers and sisters Wonda, Linda, Roy, Margaret, Joey, and Winford.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Mark and Rosie and her siblings Melvin Blair and Buddy Blair.

Services will be held on Saturday October 12, 2024, at Lone Oak Wesleyan Church, 486 N. County Road 500 W. in Anderson, Indiana. Viewing is from 11am to 1pm with a service from 1pm to 2pm. A burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
