On May 11, 2021 Eric Williams, 51, of Indianapolis died suddenly from an unknown cause. His loss was completely unexpected, and the family is shocked and deeply saddened. Anyone who knew Eric knew that he was kind, loving, and very caring. He had an immense passion for making us all laugh and was always a source of positivity.
Eric DeWayne Williams, son of Dorothy Johnson and Henry Johnson, was born in Marks, Mississippi on May 23rd, 1969. His childhood years were spent in Saginaw, Michigan during which he attended Saginaw Public Schools. Eric went on to Ohio Job Corp, where he received his diploma. Upon completion, Eric relocated to Indianapolis, where he met his beautiful wife, Madika Giles and they continued their lives together.
He was preceded in death by his wife Madika Giles, father Henry Johnson, and stepfather Carl Harris. He leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Dorothy Johnson, his daughters Octavia Pulliam (Westley), Dallas Giles and Devvin Williams; sisters Machell Odom, Dwenda Canty, Rosalind Johnson, brothers Henry Johnson and Carlos Johnson. Special niece ShaMarrah Donald. Special Aunt Mary Cooper and Special Uncle Lewis Williams along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and very dear friends. The family would like to send a very special thank you to Tyrone and Regina Whitson, who shared Eric’s last moments with him.
Visitation will be at Indiana Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, Indiana on Thursday, May 27, 2021 from 11am - 12pm. Memorial service starts at 12PM.
Participation for visitation and service will be limited due to Covid restrictions, However you may watch the service via livestream.
