Enrico T. Passarelli

Enrico T. Passarelli, 84, passed peacefully on March 15, 2023. He was born in Amaseno, Italy on January 5, 1939 to parents, Saverio and Fanny Nazarena (DeFabis) Passarelli. He is preceded in death by his brothers: Philip, Ugo, and Francesco; and a sister, Filomena. He is survived by a brother, Giuseppe, of Argentina and an extended family of several nieces and nephews; as well as many grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

Enrico was fondly known as “Doro” or “Tio Doro”. He followed his family from Italy to Argentina and later immigrated to the USA; settling in Indianapolis, where he resided for 42 years. He worked at the Hyatt Regency Hotel downtown for many years until he retired.  He was known to most enjoy a meal with relatives, a competitive game of Scopa or Bocce, or watching an exciting futbol (soccer) game on tv.

He will be laid to rest at a graveside service on Saturday, March 25th at 11am at Floral Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his memory to hospice care services at COMPASSUS, 8450 N Payne Rd, Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46268.
