Elizabeth “Liz” Goldsmith was 84 years old when she passed. Elizabeth lived at Lakeview Manor for five years, but spent the last 9 months of her life at Hooverwood Indianapolis Jewish Home in Indianapolis. She passed on Sunday, March 8th 2020 at 7:39a.m.
Elizabeth “Liz” Goldsmith was born October 17th, 1935 in Greenville, SC to Alvin and Bertha Chapman. She married Franklin Goldsmith Sr. on June 5th, 1954 in Greenville, SC. She was a homemaker and the First Lady of Goodwill Pentecostal Church of God.
Liz is survived by a daughter, Sylvia Goldsmith; a son, Samuel Lamont Goldsmith; three grandchildren, LaTasha Goldsmith, Aaron Goldsmith, and Larry Goldsmith; and six great grandchildren. She is also survived by one sibling, Ada Lee Chapman-Williams of Greenville, SC.
Liz is preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Goldsmith Sr.; two sons, Franklin Goldsmith Jr. and Ronald Goldsmith; as well as two brothers, and three sisters.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
