Elizabeth, or Betty as many knew her, of Noblesville Indiana, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2025, after a hard-fought battle with pancreatic cancer at the age of 93.
She was born in Dearborn, Michigan to the late Martin and Anna Zwarka. Elizabeth is survived by her loving daughter, Deborah Taylor; grandchildren Kaitlyn Hanas (Kyle) and Evan Taylor (Myranda); three great grandchildren, Walker, Gillian and Dean Hanas; brother Paul Zwarka and many nieces, nephews and cousins who loved her dearly. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband,
Alf Boss, sister Margaret Warden, brothers Robert, Thomas and William.
Alf and Elizabeth built an auto parts business in Michigan which consisted of three stores, one of which Elizabeth managed.
Many things brought Elizabeth joy, both big and small. She enjoyed snowmobiling, camping and boating with family and friends, and also had her pilot’s license. She was an active member of Cornerstone Lutheran Church in Carmel which included her teaching exercise classes to Seniors into her 90’s. She possessed a joyful spirit and consistently sought to lift others.
Elizabeth meant the world to her family serving as a role model and a shining Christian example.
Elizabeth’s Celebration of Life Service will be held on May 3, 2025, at 12:30 pm at Cornerstone Lutheran Church in Carmel, Indiana in the Chapel.
Memorial Contributions in Elizabeth’s memory are suggested to Cornerstone Lutheran Church.
